Welcome, Sarah!
We’re excited to introduce Sarah, one of our fall interns! Learn more about her role as an intern, what her career goals look like, and what she does for fun.
Tell us about your role as an intern at Holistic. What do you do? Who do you work with?
My main role as an intern at Holistic is working with Christie to create data portals for our clients. I look forward to exploring different aspects of Holistic by supporting projects in all departments
Where do you currently go to school? What do you study? Can you share a few of your career goals with us?
I go to school at Mizzou and I’m studying Marketing with a certificate in Marketing Analytics. I’m still not sure what I want to do yet, but one of my career goals is to find a job that allows me to travel the world for a couple of years before settling down in Chicago.
What makes you excited about working for Holistic?
I’m excited to work for Holistic because it’s such a unique opportunity to work for a start-up whose main focus is diversity, equity, and inclusion. I’ve only been with Holistic for a couple of weeks and I’m already enjoying all of the people I’ve met and the projects I’ve been working on. I’m excited to keep learning and growing in this space.
What do you do for fun?
I love to travel and to keep busy. I want to travel the world and try everything. I also love playing games, whether it be board games or basketball outside with my family, and in the winter, I really enjoy skiing.
Who is someone you admire?
I admire my sister. She’s 2 years older than me and I’ve always looked up to her. She’s someone I can rely on and someone I can always go to for help or to just talk about our lives.
What are you listening to at the moment? Watching? Obsessed with?
I’ve been recently listening to Yung Gravy and Lil Nas X a lot. I just finished watching Squid Game and I’m going to start Breaking Bad soon. I also love all the Marvel movies!
