Diandra is a strong proponent of using research for social change, where she fuses her passions for social justice and activism and research to create institutionalized changes. Prior to joining Holistic,  she received her B.A. in Anthropology at Loyola University Chicago.

Diandra undertook a few research opportunities, particularly her time in a collaborative autoethnography research, where she and a team of former students and supervisors investigated and conducted research on WOC identity, feminism, womanism, and solidarity in WOC educational spaces. She also received multiple trainings both as a student leader for Student Diversity Multicultural Affairs at Loyola University of Chicago and her time with the Network, where she conducted professional domestic violence prevention and intervention tootraining programs in the greater Chicago area. Through her skills in training curation and in combination with her studies as an anthropology student, examining global processes in diverse populations, she gained knowledge and technical skills in creating social justice programming, events, workshops, and training. Thus, Diandra possesses an informed understanding of unconscious bias, cultural competence, microaggressions, belonging, and allyship, where she aspires to implement better content and facilitation training and streamline the business development side of Holistic.

In her free time, Diandra enjoys hiking, reading, solving puzzles, and attending local art and food fairs/markets.
