About Holistic
Holistic was launched in April 2018 to help companies create better employee experiences through the use of data. Holistic works with companies to gather and analyze information about all aspects of the employee experience, with a particular focus on creating diverse and inclusive workforces where employees are treated consistently and fairly. We then work directly with our clients to attack these challenges, measuring our output along the way. We help companies attract better employees, and then work to ensure that those employees stay longer, and are happier and more productive in their roles.
Position Overview
As a Business Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building professional partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our organization. You will work closely with our team to expand our client base and strengthen our market presence.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preparing proposals and supplemental materials for potential clients
Renewal support and upselling
Light scheduling and expediting work to more the sales process forward
Follow-ups, including setting up follow-up calls and meetings and identifying the appropriate timing to follow-up with potential clients
Managing our sales pipeline using technology products
Working with our communications and design team to design marketing materials that will help the sales process
Keeping track of success and failure and measuring key statistics around the business development process
Participating in some meetings and client calls
Identifying new leads and working to understand the potential client base for Holistic’s products
Attending networking events and other public forums to identify potential clients and get the word out about Holistic
Generally supporting the entire Holistic team in creating a smoother and more evolved business development experience
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Entry level coursework related to Business, Marketing, or a related field
Stong communication and interpersonal skills
Dedication to producing clean, timely work
Willingness to grow and learn new technical skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Optimistic and positive attitude
Commitment to the mission of Holistic and a desire to help build a world-class people analytics organization
