Diversity, equity, and inclusion. These words have now seemingly become the backbone of almost every strategy meeting, marketing initiative and product rollout we see. But how are companies actively showing up to be anti-racist AND simultaneously amplifying Black voices? This month we are proud to recognize our clients and how they are actively showing up for their Black employees and communities at large.
Creating Community
How are companies making space for employees at work ERGs!
Essentially these a key to the foundation of the inclusion and diversity structure of an organization. An employee-led group that fosters community and empowers people from a similar culture, race or, background to empower their voice. They often promote professional and personal development that will lead to increased morale and employee engagement. Simple put they are a great start to not just talking the talk but walking the walk. So yes, start an ERG, support your ERGs and most importantly, be excited about what they’ll bring.
